Despite losing a member at the very peak of their hype, London-based minimal pop crew the XX have decided that the show must go on. Thus, their previously announced North American tour will continue. To make it even better, the band have sweetened the deal for Vancouver fans.
On November 26, the same day they play Vancouver, the XX will swing by the city's Zulu Records for a free in-store performance. The show takes place at 5 p.m., but make sure you come nice and early, as this is likely to fill up the entire store.
The XX were previously scheduled to play Vancouver club Venue alongside Friendly Fires. When that event sold out, the show was bumped up to the larger Commodore Ballroom, but that also sold out. So if you're missing the show because you couldn't get a ticket, this free in-store is just for you.
