Xiuxiu

This acclaimed band returns with another release this year, this time an EP that extends their bizarre textures via a mini-opus that sounds like David Bowie (perhaps a slice of every one of his characters) being passed through some sort of classical and ancient fantastical Oriental death chamber. Dense and ambient, this one is for those that like the ultimate in bizarre but still like discernable melodies.
