After first getting the idea to do a rock album in 2010, Kid Cudi and Dot Da Genius will finally be dropping their self-titled debut album as WZRD this February. Releasing a snippet of the single "Teleport to Me, Jamie" back in December, the unlikely rock duo have now released the full version of the song in anticipation of the upcoming album.
The airy, spaced-out single features sampling from Montreal/Oregon-based synth-pop band Desire's song "Under Your Spell." The track is a solid first impression of Cudi's rap to rock transformation. Let's just hope the rest of the album lives up to expectations when it drops on February 28.
