Wu-Tang Clan Planning Remix of Drake's "Wu-Tang Forever"

Drake continues to build hype for his upcoming Nothing Was the Same, most recently debuting a new song on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. While we're certainly looking forward to hearing it, a recently announced remix of his recent track "Wu-Tang Forever" has us even more excited.

Speaking with Vibe, Wu-Tang member U-God explained that the group have actually recorded an official remix to the song.

"They wanted us to remix it and get on there [so] you gon' probably hear another one with us on it," he said. "Meth did his verse — we all did our verses. I wrote my rhyme in probably 15, 20 minutes. We were moving so fast we only had about four hours of studio time. If I had some time to really sit down and get juicy with it, I probably could've got juicier with it. But I still do a nice one, I still do a real banger."

Though U-God and other members of the Clan approve of the song, Inspectah Deck was less impressed. Over on Twitter earlier this week, he wrote, "GM fam! Woke up to a lot of @Drake disses... WTH? The homey did a song about us right? Is that not love/respect? Or did I miss sum'n?" Then, after listening to the song, he said, "After listening to the @Drake song, I agree with u... It is in no form a tribute to WU and SHOULD NOT wear the title Wutang Forever!"

Either way, a Wu-Tang remix of the song (presumably sans Inspectah Deck) will surface shortly.
