Wu-Tang Clan and D-Block Join Forces for 'Wu-Block' LP

Last month, rap icons Wu-Tang Clan and D-Block dropped "Union Square," the first joint track off the two crews' impending full-length collaboration, Wu-Block. News has now come from the camps that the album will arrive in the fall.

Wu-Block is set to drop October 9 through eOne Music, and while a proper tracklisting has yet to arrive, it's said to feature 12 tracks that shine a light on both side of the grand-scale partnership. Rappers set to rep the Wu-Tang include Ghostface Killah, GZA, Raekwon, Method Man and Mastah Killah, while D-Block dudes Sheek Louch, Styles P and Jadakiss will also be featured.

"This is a unique street album combination like carnation milk with oatmeal and a dash of cinnamon," Ghostface said today (August 20) in a statement sent to AllHipHop. "We got killing on lock. It's like assassination day -- nothing but darts being thrown. It's like Batman and Robin shit. It's real street shit for the fans. They've been thirstin' for this."

Ghost went on to add that the collabo is the real deal, noting, "Other people trying to sell albums together. Those are radio albums. This shit is for the street."

The groups will be touring North America this fall, but none of the dates land them in Canada. You can still check out the schedule below.
