WTF? Led Zeppelin To Replace Robert Plant With Creed's Replacement Singer?

In case you missed it, we previously reported that Led Zeppelin, one of the most influential rock’n’roll bands of all time, are planning a reunion tour that will not feature legendary vocalist Robert Plant, as he’s uninterested in the idea. Well, as of yesterday the plot thickened.

According to a report from Billboard, sources close to the band have confirmed that they’ve been practicing with Myles Kennedy. Who is Myles Kennedy, you ask? Rewind to 2004, when a little band called Creed called it quits and Scott Stapp went on to his Kid Rock sex tape and subsequent run in the Christian music industry while the remaining band members started a band called Alter Bridge, with Kennedy as the vocalist.

In other words, the guy who once replaced one of the worst, most universally reviled singers of all time might now be replacing one of the most celebrated vocalists from one of the most popular bands ever. Then again, reuniting without Plant? I think the punishment fits the crime.

The voice that will be singing "Black Dog” from now on…
