We tried so hard to ignore the irritatingly provocative Miley Cyrus performance at MTV's Video Music Awards that had everyone from your clueless parents to your boss engaging in an embarrassing discussion about twerking, sexuality and race. Yet here we are, two days after the event, and rumour has it that she's jumped on a remix of Kanye West's aggressive anthem "Black Skinhead."
Pitchfork points to a story in the New York Post, who claim that they "exclusively learned" that Miley Cyrus teamed up with Kanye to record a remix of the Yeezus standout.
Cyrus allegedly skipped out on her own VMAs after-party to instead hit the studio with Yeezy, where the two supposedly recorded the remix that night. Rumour has it that Kanye's planning an EP of "Black Skinhead" remixes to drop before the end of the year.
While there's a good chance this is just a rumour, it does mean something horrible if it does ring true: We're going to be talking about Miley Cyrus for the rest of 2013.
