Worthless

Slow City

This record's snottier than a hanky at a loved one's funeral. The 15 songs on here have a lethal dose of stunted adolescence and criminally un-P.C. lyrics set against a blazing old school punk/early SoCal hardcore sound. On "Mandy Was," the singer laments how the sudden drug overdose death of his girlfriend has messed him up because he was deprived of one last blow job. "Booster" is about a 13-year-old girl that he wants to "use" and "Little Girl" tells the story of a girl who moves to L.A. and becomes a hooker. They also like to fight, as evidenced by tunes like "Gonna Fight" and "Mission Blvd." If you're after some ballsy punk rock that has no pretensions of ever emerging from the gutter, then check this out.
