Canadian rap collective Backburner dropped Heatwave last summer and now crew member Wordburglar is stepping out on his own to deliver his third LP, the appropriately titled 3rdburglar. The record will be out on May 8 via Hand'Solo Records/Urbnet, but for now you can check out the new video for "Rhyme O'Clock," featuring Backburner cohort More or Les.
If some of the scenery looks familiar, it's because the clip was shot on Queen Street in Toronto, with some special attention being paid to local comic book store the Silver Snail. Keeping in theme, there's references to The Watchmen and Star Wars in the video, plus a completely awesome and unrelated cameo from Bram. Yes, that's right, from Sharon, Lois and Bram.
