Woolworm have shared a new single from their upcoming LP Awe. The song is called "Let Me Wear the Mask," and you can hear it now.

On the new track, singer Giles Roy elaborated on its abstract lyrics. "When we play it, I think of my own destructive tendencies, as well as my attempts to curb them with what amounts to dishonesty," he said in a statement. "Sometimes I find genuine release in that escapism. That said, hopefully people will find their own meaning here."

Woolworm have also announced a record release show in their hometown of Vancouver. The show will go down on November 15 at Red Gate Arts Society with supporting acts from Juice, Outpatient and Kamikaze Nurse. Details can be found here.

Woolworm previously shared the record's lead single "Hold the Bow," which was inspired by Marina Abramović's 1980 performance-art piece called "Rest Energy."

Awe marks the band's first record since 2017's Deserve to Die and is due this November 8 via Mint Records.
