Wool & Howl

"Hard Love" (video)

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Sep 6, 2016

Wool & Howl unveiled a video for "Follow Me" at the start of summer, and now they're ready to follow that up with a new clip for "Hard Love."

The song serves as the title track on the Toronto outfit's upcoming EP, which was produced by Chris Stringer (the Wooden Sky, Timber Timbre) and Nathan Deshpande (Donovan Woods). It hears founding songwriter Luke Nares and lead vocalist Josée Wilson expanding their two-piece sound to include cellist Charlotte Moore, multi-instrumentalist Andrew Jones and percussionist/vocalist Kevin Wilson.

You can hear the new creative collaborative spirit on "Hard Love," while the accompanying video finds Josée waking in the middle of the night and wandering through her Toronto apartment. Falling into a dream state, she struggles to make sense of the people — both known and blindfolded strangers — and places around her.

Follow her through the night in the video for "Hard Love" below. The EP of the same name will be welcomed with a record release show on September 29 at the Piston in Toronto.
