Matthew Mondanile is a master of summery, nostalgic pop, playing guitar for Real Estate, as well as fronting his own project Ducktails. This fall, he will release his third official full-length under the Ducktails moniker, Ducktails III: Arcade Dynamics, which will come out via the boutique lo-fi label Woodsist.
The album doesn't yet have a tracklist, but you can listen to the first single, "Hamilton Street," here. The full album is due out this fall.
According to a press release, "Ducktails attempts to realize a shared cultural memory and nostalgia through various genres, drone, psych, music concrete, etc."
Ducktails has a lengthy list of tour dates coming up, but none of them are in Canada. As previously reported, Real Estate will be hitting the road in the fall with Deerhunter.
