Torontos "two-headed indie Timberlake Woodhands have officially signed to Paper Bag Records to release their forthcoming album, Heart Attack. Scheduled for release on April 1, the bands debut will feature "nine absolute bangers and the one requisite slow jam, for artistic cred." Fellow Paper Bag artist Laura Barrett - who's own debut for the label, Earth Sciences drops February 25 - provides vocals on the album closing "Sailboats."
Also in the cards for the band is an appearance on the upcoming Sally Shapiro album Remix Romance Vol. 1, as remixers for the Swedish Italo disco stars "Anorak Christmas.
Woodhands are currently scheduling a North American tour this spring in support of Heart Attack. Before then, however, they have a number of appearances booked:
