Woodhands Cross Canada With Cadence Weapon

BY Brock ThiessenPublished Sep 18, 2008

That hedonistic duo known as Woodhands are once again gearing up for a whole new whack of Canadian tour dates. Kicking things off Friday (September 19) at London, ON’s LOLA Festival, the keytar-sporting rump shakers will take their frantic live show across the country, and along for the ride this time will be fellow Canuck Cadence Weapon.

Live, Woodhands will still be sporting the sounds of their Paper Bag Records debut, Heart Attack, as well as a newish digital-only EP, I Wasn’t Made for Fighting. The smaller four-track offering comes equipped with the original album mix of "I Wasn’t Made for Fighting,” a "Keytar Hero” remix by the band themselves, one Mercedeez Bendz reworking and a live version of the Heart Attack track "Under Attack,” just in case you want to take their show home with you.

Here are all of Woodhands’ clothing-optional tour dates:

9/19 London, ON – LOLA Festival
9/25 Vancouver, BC – Richard’s on Richard *
