The Wooden Sky Bring 1st Annual Holiday Revue to Toronto

This holiday season is shaping up to be a busy one for Toronto concertgoers. Already we've learned about Jason Collett's Basement Revue Series and the What's in the Box festival at the Drake Hotel. Now, Polaris-nominated folkies the Wooden Sky have announced their holiday show, which will take place at the Music Gallery on Sunday (December 19).

The show promises to be yearly event, being billed as the 1st Annual Holiday Revue. All proceeds go to the Daily Bread Food Bank, and a press release indicates that non-perishable food items can be donated as well. The bill also features Philadelphia rockers Strand of Oaks.

The show will cost $25. The venue has a capacity of just 150, so expect it to sell out fast.

If you haven't had a chance to pick up the Polaris-nominated If I Don't Come Home You'll Know I'm Gone, this show could be the perfect opportunity. Today (December 15), the band tweeted, "Repress of the 'If I don't come home...' vinyl is finished. Which means we will have them for sale on the 19th at the music gallery! #stoked."
