Wolf Parade Release Two New Tracks, Play Toronto on North American Tour

BY Alex HudsonPublished Nov 2, 2010

When Wolf Parade spoke to Exclaim! about their latest LP, Expo 86, back in March, singer Dan Boeckner explained that the group had recorded 15 songs. Only 11 of those tracks ended up on the album, meaning that at least four songs were left unaccounted for. Now, we have two of those unheard songs in the form of a new single.

The single, which appeared on iTunes today (November 2), contains album outtakes "Semi-Precious Stone" (sung by Spencer Kurg) and "Agents of Love" (sung by Boecker). Just like the rest of Expo 86, the tracks are upbeat and stripped-down.

These tunes are being released just in time for Wolf Parade's latest tour, which kicks off tomorrow (November 3). It will take the band all around the eastern half of North America, wrapping up in Toronto on November 26. That's the only Canadian date currently booked. See the schedule below.
