Wolf Eyes Announce Album for Third Man Records

Jack White might not live in Detroit anymore, but he still seems to have a lot of affection for his hometown. Case in point: he is releasing the new album from veteran Detroit noiseniks Wolf Eyes through his Third Man Records imprint.

The album is called I Am a Problem: Mind in Pieces and it will be released on October 30. That's the album cover above and the six-song tracklist below.

An art-y, rambling press release describes the album like this:

Here on I AM PROBLEM : the trio are at their peak: relaxed but knife-focused : not a second is wasted on the streamlined atmosphere of scruffy scotch tape-electronics musique' concrete foundation of splatter used to raise up a monument of individualism and idiosyncratic homemade misfired dribbling ROCK AND ROLL: again from the year 2098, with a new messed up misconfigured FACE.

The album's release will be preceded by a 7-inch for the single "Enemy Ladder," a ferociously fuzzy experiment that can be heard at the bottom of this page. It will be out on September 4 and comes backed with a song called "Dull Murder Two." The single can be pre-ordered here.

I Am a Problem: Mind in Pieces:

1. Catch the Rich Train
2. Twister Nightfall
3. T.O.D.D.
4. Aspestos Youth
5. Enemy Ladder
6. Cynthia Vortex AKA Trip Memory Illness
