Annual festival Folk on the Rocks has been bringing music to Yellowknife since 1980. Now, organizers have announced the initial lineup for their 2019 edition.
Headlining this year's instalment are indie rockers Wintersleep and Polaris Music Prize-winning electronic artist Lido Pimienta.
Other performers include Snotty Nose Rez Kids, Nap Eyes, Leela Gilday, Riit, Yes We Mystic, PIT!, Soda Pony, the Sweeties and Claude Cormier.
The festival runs from July 12 to 14 on the shores of Long Lake.
