Having just announced a North American tour, East Coast indie rock outfit Wintersleep are spreading the word by releasing another track from their upcoming album. The latest single from Hello Hum is "Nothing Is Anything (Without You)."
The track pairs midtempo acoustic strums with a brittle, hard-hitting beat. This rhythm section gives a subtle dash of experimental texture to what's otherwise a straightforward, pleasantly melodic cut. Much like on 2010's New Inheritors, it sounds like Wintersleep have been listening to lots of R.E.M.
"Nothing Is Anything (Without You)" follows the previously unveiled Hello Hum tracks "Resuscitate" and "In Came the Flood," which are also below. The album arrives on June 12 via Capitol/EMI
