For dedicated listeners to satellite radio provider SIRIUS, here's your chance to help bring a unique concert experience to your hometown. SIRIUS has launched the Face the Music challenge, which calls upon the music knowledge of listeners in a name-that-tune-style competition. Winners have the chance to get a free concert from one of a number of popular Canadian artists -- such as Broken Social Scene, City and Colour, and K-os -- in their hometown.

The contest is based on the commercial-free radio station's genre-crossing playlist, and after hearing a song clip, points are awarded depending upon how quickly one guesses the correct answer. Contestants represent a region based on where they're located. Players will be competing for communities in the western, central, Quebec, and eastern regions of Canada.

For the Face the Music Concert Series, eight artists are in the running to come play in your city, including Sam Roberts and the Trews in the West; Broken Social Scene and Bedouin Soundclash in the central region; Marie-Mai and Alfa Rococo in Quebec; and City and Colour and K-os in the East.

"We're very excited to launch an online challenge that encourages community participation and sparks a friendly rivalry to determine the four hometowns in Canada that will win an incredible Canadian live music experience," said Andreanne Sasseville, director of Canadian content development and industry relations for SIRIUS Canada in a statement. "SIRIUS is all about the music and we're so thrilled about the artists that have signed on to be a part of this new series. The response has been overwhelming since the contest went live."

According to the press release, "Regional leaders are beginning to pull ahead, with Yellowknife, YT in the lead for Western Canada, Anacaster, Ontario in the lead for Central, Shawinigan-Sud leading in Quebec and Hampton, New Brunswick leading in Eastern Canada."

So head on over to the contest page and get your game-face on to bring a free live show your way. The contest closes July 6 at 5 p.m. EST. Winning communities will be announced on July 7.
