Willie Nelson Recruits Snoop Dogg, Sheryl Crow, Kris Kristofferson for 'Heroes'
These days, Willie Nelson is known as much for being a pot-smoking ice cream muse as a singer, but that might change -- at least a little bit -- when he releases Heroes on May 15 through Legacy Recordings.

This guest-heavy collection features cameos from Snoop Dogg, Sheryl Crow, Kris Kristofferson, Merle Harggard, David Letterman's sidekick Paul Shaffer, Willie's sons Lukas and Micah Nelson, and more.

As for the tracklist, it's composed of a mixture of original songs, new versions of old classics and cover tunes. The covers include Coldplay's "The Scientist" (embedded at the bottom of this page), Tom Waits' "Come On Up to the House" and Pearl Jam's "Just Breathe."

See the tracklist below. Expect this to be the first in a string of releases from Willie Nelson through Legacy, which will encompass expanded editions of old albums and archival compilations.
