William Onyeabor Toasted with Remix/Covers Collection Featuring Hot Chip, Daphni, the Vaccines, Javelin for Record Store Day

African synth whiz William Onyeabor was recently rescued from obscurity thanks to the excellent Luaka Bop reissue Who Is William Onyeabor? Striking while the iron's hot, the label is now toasting the Nigerian cult hero with a collection of covers and remixes called WHAT?! - William Onyeabor Remixed for Record Store Day (April 19).

The record, which is co-presented by Moog, features contributions from a number of notable acts, including Hot Chip, Daphni (a.k.a. Caribou's Dan Snaith), the Vaccines, Javelin and JD Twitch. See the 10-song tracklist below.
