Will Butler Takes Solo Album on North American Spring Tour
This spring, Arcade Fire multi-instrumentalist Will Butler will release his debut solo album Policy. Rather than just drop it into the ether and hope for the best, the artist has now announced plans to tour in support of it.

Butler's Policy tour will kick off in Boston at the beginning of March, and run through North America for the whole month, including a stint at SXSW. Finally, it will conclude with a pair of Canadian shows, with the artist performing at Toronto's Horseshoe Tavern on March 27 and Montreal's Bar Le Ritz PDB on March 28.

Policy, meanwhile, is set to come out on March 10 via Merge. The album was recorded at Jimi Hendrix's Electric Lady Studios in New York and features drumming from Arcade Fire member Jeremy Gara.
