Published Oct 07, 2009If you're starting to organize your 2010 concert plans, you may want to set aside some time for Wilco: the much-loved Chicago outfit have just announced a hefty Canadian tour, fittingly dubbed the "Trans Canada" tour.
In support of the band's latest effort Wilco (The Album), they will kick off a series of Canadian dates in February, swinging through Calgary, Montreal, Ottawa and a lot more cities in between. And if you're on the West coast, you're in for an extra-special treat: Wilco will be playing a free show in Vancouver at David Lam Park on February 13 as part of the 2010 Winter Olympics' "Live City" festivities.
No openers have been announced for the dates, but most of the pre-sales begin next week. For more info, click here.
Also, if you're in Toronto, Wilco have two shows slated for the city's Massey Hall on October 14 and 15, though both are sold out.
