Taking a temporary break from his duties with New York hip-hop group Ratking, Wiki has announced he's got a solo project on the way. His Lil Me is due to drop next Monday (December 7) through Letter Racer, but you can get a sample of the set now via a highly domesticated music video supporting its "Livin' with My Moms."
The clip kicks off with Wiki noting how he's still holed up in an apartment with his mother, with free time spent puffin' blunts outside of their window. Featuring jazzy production from Black Noi$e and a guest spot from Nasty Nigel, it continues to weigh in on the high life.
As for the video, it moves from home over to a gig's soundcheck, but a cape-fluttering superhero theme eventually takes over. You can see the hip-hop crusader in action down below.
A press release explains that the 17-song Lil Me will have Wiki joined on the mic by Hak, Micachu, Antwon and more, while producers include Madlib, Kaytranada, Harry Fraud, Lee Bannon, and Sporting Life.
