Having already scored number one hits with their album and two singles, Sheffields Arctic Monkeys are jumping into filmmaking. You may be thinking A Hard Days Night, but Scummy Man is more akin to Trainspotting without the happy ending. The short brings to life the tragic tale of the bands hit "When the Sun Goes Down the story of a young prostitute battling drug addiction, an oppressive pimp and a disturbed amateur magician on the not-so-nice streets of Sheffield. Dismal, earnest and remarkably unsettling, it proves that this is a band in it for the art.
