After becoming 2015's Heartbreaker of the Year, PEI-raised country-western artist Whitney Rose has announced that 2016 has her entering a new relationship with Canadian imprint Six Shooter Records.
A press release confirms that Rose has inked a deal with the imprint, meaning she's now labelmates with the likes of Tanya Tagaq, Whitehorse, Deep Dark Woods, Jenn Grant and Sam Outlaw. Both Whitney Rose's Americana-dusted 2012 self-titled debut and Heartbreaker of the Year had been issued through Cameron House.
Details have yet to arrive behind Rose's next full-length release, but the now Six Shooter-backed artist will be detailing a North American tour schedule sometime soon. At present, Rose is handling a full-time residency at Austin, TX's Continental Club, which she plays every Thursday. She also has an L.A. show lined up in February.
