As previously reported, Vancouver punks White Lung are gearing for the May 29 release of Sorry, their "unforgiving but…melodic" follow-up to 2010's celebrated It's the Evil. And what better way to show the songs off than with a newly announced summer tour?
The band play a record release show at Vancouver's Biltmore Cabaret on May 24, but they will bolt from British Columbia just a couple of weeks after Deranged Records issues Sorry. The first leg of their trip will bring the band down into the U.S., where they'll meet up with fellow punks Wax Idols and Ceremony. July finds them back in the mother country, though, for a handful of dates that bring them from Montreal to Calgary. You can check out the schedule down below.
White Lung have also offered up some Sorry-related eye candy in the form of a video for previously unveiled first single "Take the Mirror." The new clip finds the band bashing it out in graffiti-filled practice space, and confirms that Mish Way's fierce and raspy delivery can be attributed to both her smoking habit and the group's unwillingness to shell out for a proper PA.
