Published Feb 20, 2009Vancouver all-girl punk troupe White Lung are at the forefront of their city's punk revival, with their rowdy live show and uniquely angular songwriting. As such, their recorded output has had a fair bit of hype behind it in the last year or so. It's gotten to the point where their hotly tipped debut seven-inch went out-of-print. Fortunately, the band have recently repressed the EP on hometown record label Hockey Dad Records.
The record was initially pressed in a run of 1,000 and sold out last fall. The label has printed more copies but only in another limited run of 300, so act fast! And if you're worried that your mint copy of the original will dwindle in value, don't worry - the new edition sports a fancy red and black colour scheme to help distinguish it from the old one. The record can be purchased here.
The band also released their Magazine seven-inch on Deranged in 2008, and are currently said to be writing songs for an upcoming LP to be released later this year.
