Switching things up a bit, White Lung vocalist Mish Way recently toned down the punk fury of her band's Deep Fantasy cut "Wrong Star" through an acoustic collaboration with Waxahatchee's Katie Crutchfield.
Presented through the Noisey Acoustics series, the timid tag-team takes place on a Lower East Side rooftop, with Way singing a tad softer than we're used to atop the coffee-shop strum of Crutchfield. It's a world of difference from the screeching guitar sonics of Kenneth William and the manic rumble of drummer Anne-Marie Vassiliou, but it works.
Repaying the favour, Way helps Crutchfield out on her "Coast to Coast." You'll find both collaborations down below.
As previously reported, Waxahatchee is hitting Toronto and Montreal on her upcoming fall tour. White Lung, meanwhile, have added a pair of BC dates this December to their busy 2014 schedule. You'll find their tour details down below.
