Following the spring announcement of their self-titled debut album, Maritimes supergroup Weird Lines are gearing up to take their tunes on the road.

The group — consisting of Julie Doiron, C.L. McLaughlin, Jon McKiel, James Anderson and Chris Meaney — will be playing a series of Canadian shows come July, including several in Ontario followed by one in Montreal and then more in New Brunswick.

Along the way, Weird Lines will link up with Adrian Teacher & the Subs (who recently released their excellent Terminal City) for several joint dates, as well as Jay Arner (whose Jay II arrives on June 17 via Mint Records) and Supermoon. Weird Lines' Jon McKiel will also be pulling double duty on the tour and play a solo set each night.

Along with the tour announcement, Weird Lines have shared the new album track "Between the Lamppost (You and I)," which you can hear at the bottom of the page.

As previously reported, Weird Lines arrives July 8 via Sappy Futures Ltd. You can read Exclaim!'s review of the band's recent Lawnya Vawnya show here.
