Weird Canada Brings Red Mass, Dirty Beaches and Gobble Gobble on Travelling Wyrd Fest
Back in 2009, Canadian outsider music blog Weird Canada brought a legion of experimental artists to Edmonton for the first annual Wyrd Fest. In 2010, they expanded the concept as a travelling caravan, bringing Wyrd Fest to Edmonton, Calgary and Lethbridge, AB. This year, the festival has gone one step further by expanding into BC with their most expansive endeavour yet.

Wyrd III will see a wide array of noise, garage, pop and electronic artists travel through Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver over the May long weekend in 2011.

The full lineup of the festivities includes Red Mass, Dirty Beaches, Gobble Gobble, Wyrd Visions, Sex Church, the Famines, Long, Long, Long, Hobo Cubes, Bernardino Femminieli, Velvet Chrome, Feral Children, Silver Dapple, the Ketamines, Makeout Videotape and Role Mach. In addition to that lineup, a secret special guest will be announced on May 10, as well as a series of local openers and other surprises for each show.
