Wealthy Weezer fans looking for a rock'n'roll getaway take note: the long-running alt-rockers have revealed plans for the inagural Weezer Cruise, a star-studded four-night cruise travelling from Miami, Fl to Cozumel, Mexico early next year.
In addition to intimate performances, Q&As and photo shoots with Weezer, the cruise will include shows from Dinosaur Jr., Sebadoh, Gene Ween and Dave Dreiwitz, Wavves, the Antlers, Yuck, Free Energy, Boom Bip, J Mascis, Lou Barlow, Keepaway, Ozma, the Nervous Wreckords, the Knocks, Sleeper Agent and Yacht Rock Revue.
The trip is taking place from January 19 to 23, 2012, with a pre-sale taking place first thing in the morning on July 19. Tickets for the trip begin at $799 per person, plus $179 for port taxes and fees, and range up to $2,899. Of course, not only will you be hanging out with some great bands on a boat, but you'll also have all of your meals, non-alcoholic drinks and cabin stay included in those prices.
