Besides receiving loving jabs on 30 Rock and across the blogosphere, the Snuggie seems to be a product that people are actually using. In fact, even rock stars are being swept up in this comfort fad, and soon it appears that Snuggies will be gracing a Weezer merch table near you.
In a report from Rolling Stone, Rivers Cuomo revealed the band's very own blanket with sleeves, which they're dubbing the Wuggie.
"A Wuggie is basically exactly like a Snuggie, except it says Weezer on it," Cuomo explained. "The people at Snuggie are doing it with us and promoting it with us. It's a totally legit Snuggie."
If this trend catches on, get ready for like-minded bands to take on the Sham Wow and Slap Chop in the near future.
