Weezer's weekly teaser snippets haven't all been forthcoming when it comes to sharing information about the band's impending new album. The latest 39-second clip, however, includes a fairly substantial extract of a new track.
This is the eighth video in their "=w=" series, and it features a new tune called "Ain't Got Nobody." While we see black and white footage of a drive down the highway, we hear the dramatically chugging power-pop tune, which, for better or for worse, sounds fairly standard for latter-day Weezer. The clip ends with a shot of frontman Rivers Cuomo with a beard.
This follows a prior song snippet, the slightly more downcast, metal-tinged "The Waste Land." Check out both clips below.
