The Weeknd may be gearing up for the release of his remastered mixtape collection Trilogy, but that isn't stopping Abel Tesfaye from leaking a new track on us. Called "Enemy," the non-Trilogy song just surfaced online.
For a taste of what's in store, the Toronto crooner sings, "I'd rather be your enemy than any friend you think I would be / I'm just tryna take you home without a word / I'm just tryna kiss your neck without a word / I'm just tryna lay you down without a word." However, you'll notice Tesfaye also cops a line from Morrissey on this one, singing, "Please, please, please, let me get what I want this time."
Check out the song for yourself below.
As for Trilogy, it arrives November 13 via Universal Republic.
