The Week in Comments: Exclaim!'s Reader Feedback Roundup with Black Sabbath, Jack White, Handsome Furs

Welcome back to another week of the Reader Feedback Roundup, where we here at Exclaim! take note of the discussions going on around our music news. In this edition, our readers chime in on some intra-band politics and celebrity drama.

To begin, one of the most commented-on stories this week was the feud between members of Black Sabbath and drummer Bill Ward, which resulted in the band editing Ward out of the promo shots on their website.

Though Ward's image may have been removed at his own request, a number of readers were pointing the finger elsewhere. "What a farce. I blame SharOz," wrote Facebook user Motor Zedd, referring to the combination of Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, while another reader simply said, "Damn you Sharon Osbourne." No matter who is responsible, though, Exclaim! readers agreed this is not good news. "How come bands can't just suck up personal differences like the Ramones did and just play?" asked Canuckle Head.

In other rock star theatrics, Jack White was outraged when Guinness World Records failed to recognize his one-note concert in St. John's, NL as the shortest of all time. Our readers were not impressed. "I was at that show. Super pissoff," responded Terry. Others focused on the self-indulgence of it all. "He must have the record for number of own farts sniffed," said an anonymous reader.

Finally, after Handsome Furs broke up without releasing any official reason for the split, Exclaim! readers were pretty baffled. Twitter user @RachelsHero asked us, "Handsome Furs broke up......WTF? What's the story???" Meanwhile, Chaz wondered rhetorically, "so they're not coming to Whitehorse?" But maybe this had something to do with the breakup?
