The Weakerthans and Constantines To Embark On "Rolling Tundra Revue" Tour in March

BY Brock ThiessenPublished Dec 8, 2008

Old touring buddies the Weakerthans and Constantines have announced they'll once again be pairing up and hitting the road as a package deal. Dubbed the Rolling Tundra Revue 2009, the joint headlining tour is set to kick off in mid-March next year and finds the two beloved Canadian rock acts playing 21 shows in 20 different Canadian cities in the East, West and the North.

The tour follows the bands' inaugural Rolling Tundra Revue in 2005 and this time sees them hitting Halifax, Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Regina and basically every major, and not so major, Canadian city you can think of. Yes, this includes Whitehorse.

Joining the Weakerthans and Constantines on the road will be a vast array of local and regional groups that will help the bands show that success and validation can be found right here in Canada, no nods from the U.S. required. They'll also simply get you warmed up for two of the best live acts the country has to offer.
