Waxahatchee, Jesu, Sun Kil Moon 'Say Yes!' to Elliott Smith on Tribute Comp
Interest in the late American pop legend Elliott Smith is as high as ever, thanks in no small part to the 2014 doc Heaven Adores You and its accompanying soundtrack. Up next, some of indie music's biggest stars will pay tribute to the performer on a new compilation.

The release is called Say Yes! A Tribute to Elliott Smith, and it features 14 previously unreleased Smith covers along with one that previously appeared on the Wes Anderson tribute compilation I Saved Latin!

The previously released track is Julianna Hatfield's cover of "Needle in the Hay," which you can stream in full below.

The rest of the compilation features contributions from the likes of Waxahatchee, Lou Barlow, Jesu/Sun Kil Moon, Amanda Palmer, J. Mascis, Yuck and many others.

Say Yes! A Tribute to Elliott Smith will arrive on October 14 via American Laundromat. You'll find a tracklisting, alphabetized by song, below.
