"What the French Call 'Les Incompétents'" (video)

St. Catharines rockers Waterbodies prove that Home Alone is still the most quotable movie ever with their latest self-directed and edited video for "What the French Call 'Les Incompétents.'"

While the clip doesn't involve leaving an eight year-old kid at home by himself over Christmas, hijinks certainly ensue. It features the band's Hawaiian shirt-sporting friend going on a one-man picnic with nothing but a basket of Faygo and McDonalds burgers.

"We shot and edited an entire music video, but it didn't have the flow we were looking for so we slowly developed it in to a story," says band member Rick Fast with regards to the creative process. "Once you've set up camp, dig right in to those burgers until you pass out from that burger that was just one too many. After you've come out of your burger coma realize you've got yourself a food baby. A literal food baby. A burger baby. Raise him as one of your own."

Waterbodies have a string of upcoming shows, which you can check out below and if you scroll past those, you can catch the clip for "What the French Call 'Les Incompétents.'" Grab a cup of Red Pop and a McDouble, sit back, relax and enjoy the show. (Warning, though: you might not actually want to be eating while you watch this.)
