Wilco's new album Ode to Joy is out early next month, so it makes complete sense the band would be giving us a new single from the record. Today we've got the song "Everyone Hides," which has arrived via a new video.

As you'll witness, clip — created by Picture Show Films — shows Wilco taking to the streets of Chicago to do a seriously elaborate game of hide and seek.

"'Everyone Hides' is the first promotional video to feature Wilco as a living breathing band of humans in close to 20 years," said Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy in a statement. "Maybe for obvious reasons we've avoided putting ourselves forward in this way and have tried to play to our strengths musically or, I don't know, maybe we've just been lazy... Or suspicious of expenditures outside of our focus on album making. For whatever reason this time around we just said f**k it and had a blast."

Watch the resulting "Everyone Hides" video below. The track follows the previously shared album track "Love Is Everywhere (Beware)."

Ode to Joy arrives October 4 through dBpm Records. The band will also head out on a North American fall tour.
