Watch Sasami's Self-Directed Video for "Take Care"

The track arrives today as the A-Side from her new digital 7-inch

Cherry Glazerr keyboardist/guitarist Sasami Ashworth has shared a new single today from her Sasami project, giving us "Take Care" alongside a self-directed music video. The song comes from a newly released digital 7-inch single, which also features a new recording of her track "Free" (originally from her debut album Sasami, released earlier this year).

The "Take Care" video itself sees the artist set fire to paintings in the desert, smash a car, vandalize a building and dive off a boat in the middle of a river. Of the video, Sasami had this to say:

Everyone has a destructive, reckless side — however much they choose or allow the world to see it. The video for "Take Care" is about embracing that destructive side of you and forgiving yourself. Even when you are lost and want to give up, loving yourself and forgiving.

Sasami is currently on tour in Europe in support of her self-titled debut, which came out in March courtesy of Domino Records. Scroll past the video to see those dates below.

Exclaim! spoke to Sasami about her debut back in March of this year. Read the interview here.
