Watch PUP Frontman Stefan Babcock Cover Built to Spill's "Car"

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Jul 2, 2019

PUP frontman Stefan Babcock is no stranger to singing about cars, so it only makes sense that when he was asked to cover a song for MyMusicRx's Bedstock festival, he opted for "Car" by Built to Spill.

The festival sees bands playing from their own beds "as a show of solidarity with sick children who are stuck in theirs."

Babcock's contribution was filmed backstage at the Wonder Ballroom in Portland, and he really got into it by donning a sleeping bag onesie and replacing his bandmates with stuffed animals.

Watch his version of "Car" below.
