Now that Post Malone has covered Hootie and the Blowfish, he can pretty much do anything. So it's not overly shocking that he's now taken on a song by country dude Sturgill Simpson.

Last night (March 21), Matthew McConaughey hosted the "We're Texas: Giddy Up to Give Back" — a streaming event to raise money for Texans affected by the devastating winter storms. And during the show, Posty popped in to cover Simpson's "You Can Have the Crown," which appeared on 2013's High Top Mountain.

Not stopping there, Post Malone also got all country with a cover of Brad Paisley's "I'm Gonna Miss Her (The Fishing Song)."

Down below, you can watch Post Malone cover Sturgill Simpson at the 2:10:27 mark, while his version of "I'm Gonna Miss Her (The Fishing Song)" can be seen at 2:04:11.

Other guests for "We're Texas: Giddy Up to Give Back" included Kacey Musgraves, Miranda Lambert, Kelly Clarkson, Khalid, Kirk Franklin, George Strait, Clint Black, Lyle Lovett, Gary Clark Jr., Don Henley and Lukas Nelson, among others.
