Watch Paul McCartney Play "Helter Skelter" with Krist Novoselic

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Apr 18, 2016

Paul McCartney is currently in the midst of his "One on One" tour, and the former Beatle brought out a special guest at last night's (April 17) show in Seattle. Paying homage to a grunge great in his old band's hometown, Macca brought out Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic.

The pair played through a wild rendition of Beatles classic "Helter Skelter," amidst a flurry of lights and video screen animations.

It wasn't the pair's first time playing together — the Beatle and Nirvana member previously collaborated together on the track "Cut Me Some Slack" last year, while McCartney and Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl have also graced the stage together.

Check out some fan-shot footage of last night's special performance below.
