Neil Young and Bob Dylan have both been on tour in Europe, but their paths finally crossed for a pair of headlining shows in the UK and Ireland over the weekend — and at Nowlan Park in Kilkenny last night (July 14), they appeared onstage together for the first time in 25 years.

The co-headliners joined forces for a rendition of "Will the Circle Be Unbroken," much to the crowd's delight.

The traditional hymn was interpreted and recorded by Dylan in 1967 with the Band during his Basement Tapes sessions. Young has also played the song live in the past, performing it alongside Willie Nelson several times in the last couple decades.

Young and Dylan's last joint performance was at New York's Roseland Ballroom in 1994.
