Watch Metallica's Live Record Store Day Set

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Apr 28, 2016

Another Record Store Day has come and gone, and while vinyl vultures continue to hock this year's special exclusives for unfathomably high prices, Metallica are here to remind us what the day is all about — the music, man.

The band served as 2016's official Record Store Day ambassadors, and celebrated the title with a live set at Rasputin Music in Berkeley, CA. Now, video of the full performance has surfaced online.

The nine-song set hears the band opening with "Helpless" before tackling classics like "Hit the Lights," "Ride the Lightning" and "For Whom the Bell Tolls."

Instead of shelling out hundreds of bucks for a plastic, Metallica-branded guitar pick, relive the band's live show from the comfort of your own home, free of charge. Just hit play below.
