Stage falls are often commonplace in rock'n'roll, and Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett just learned that the hard way. While playing a recent show in Milan, Hammett took a tumble after slipping on his very own wah wah pedal.
While shredding away during his solo on Metallica's "Moth into Flame," Hammett wiped out hard, and since this is 2019, it was captured all on video — not from just one angle but two.
Owning it, Hammett himself shared a pair of videos featuring the fall, writing, "Ummm — I slipped on my wet wah pedal. It rained so much I felt like I was playing guitar in the shower."
