Watch Islands, Octoberman, Slow Learners and Sculpture in Our Exclaim! TV Roundup

We've rounded up the best from Exclaim! TV over the last little while for your viewing pleasure. This time we've got exclusive performances from all sorts of great Canadian artists, ranging from folk to electronic to good old rock'n'roll.

First up, Vancouver's Slow Learners rocked their session at the Tranzac in Toronto, powering through renditions of "Grocery Store" and "Party Police." Fans of Ladyhawk will be pleased to know that Sean Hawryluk is part of Slow Learners and helps deliver the two awesome performances.

Changing paces a bit, Octoberman show off their gorgeous folk sensibilities, complete with a violin, in their Exclaim! TV recording. They performed "Burnin Sun" and "Thank You Mr. V," which both appear on their brand new album Waiting in the Well that came out this week.

Islands (pictured) have returned to the forefront of Canadian indie rock recently with their new LP A Sleep & A Forgetting and graciously allowed Exclaim! TV to shoot some footage at their sound check in Toronto. Fronted by Nick Thorburn, Islands delivered beautiful version of new album cuts "This Is Not a Song" and ""In a Dream (It Seemed Real)."

And finally, Exclaim! TV has teamed up with MUTEK to deliver profiles on up-and-coming electronic artists in our new Digitalis Series. This week we get to know Sculpture, who are blending music and visual art in an extremely cool way. Check that video out here.

Watch all of these exclusive sessions this week and, as always, keep an eye on Exclaim! TV for new sessions going up all the time.
