Watch Horror Classic 'Nosferatu' Get a New Score by Del Bel

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Oct 31, 2016

Back in the summer, dark orchestral pop outfit Del Bel performed a live score to an outdoor screening of F.W. Murnau's 1922 horror classic Nosferatu. Now, just in time for Halloween, Exclaim! is giving you exclusive online access to the project.

The initial event was aptly titled "Vampires in the Outfield" and took place at Toronto's Queensway Park on June 18, but with autumn in full-swing, you can relive the live score from the warmth and comfort of your living room.

The time-tested Dracula adaptation remains as spooky as ever, with Del Bel's original compositions adding additional eeriness to the cinematic affair.

Grab the popcorn and settle in for a frightening audio and visual experience, then hit play below.

Del Bel's lineup for the show included Tyler Belluz, Lisa Conway, AJ Johnson, Ira Zingraff, Mike Brooks, Joe Ernewein, John Corban and Karen Ng. Sound was recorded and mixed by Colin Harrington, and produced by Emily Reid and Felan Parker. The video itself comes with the help of Perry Walker.
